Lemon-Lavender Cleanse
Yes, I am now the weird girl at the coffee shop that orders a decaf latte at 8 a.m. Even though I get a little made fun of sometimes, it's totally worth it because I feel so much better. Last summer I greatly decreased my caffeine consumption and now after indulging in way too many caffeine-filled Keurig pods over Christmas break, it's time to revert to my healthier habits. It is January after all-- the month of resets, do-overs, goals, ambitions, and gym memberships.
Although health is sometimes more a factor of discipline, I find that taking care of my health is so much easier if the changes I implement are making me FEEL GOOD. This Lemon-Lavender drink has gotten my days off to a great start and is a wonderfully natural way to gently cleanse my body. I gave it to my husband too, and when he saw I was putting it on the blog he said, "Oh good! That stuff is awesome and I felt so much better afterwards." So, I guess it's "husband approved"--at least for my husband. It tastes a lot like lemonade--just not as sweet. Give it a try and see what you think.
